Mykonos
We
stayed in Mykonos for 1 night and oh what a night it was....the town
literally doesn't sleep. If you like to party, this is the island for
you; not for me.
I did find beauty during the day as I walked solo along the white washed walls of the maze like town. I literally got lost!
A fun bird along the way :-) |
Stay
We stayed at a hotel in Mykonos Town and although the grounds were
nice, I felt the room was very small and the shower was barely there.
Not even fair to call it a shower since the water formed a tiny lake in
our bathroom....I have hopes that they've improved things over the years.
P.S. I do recall great espresso!

Eat
Some friends ended up travelling Europe around the same time as us so we all met in Mykonos and had dinner at a very nice spot.

The next day we had lunch on the water with a great view of the picturesque windmills!
To
get to the Greek Isle - Santorini - from here, you need to take a
ferry. If I could go back and do things a little different, I would not
go to Mykonos. Instead, I would spend more time in Santorini. It is, to
this date, one of the most beautiful places I have visited....Stay
tuned.....
